Falls Church, Virginia (October 1960 to March 1961)

Our family left Cuba in October 1960.  Pat had just begun her senior year at Wellesley and Bill had just begun his sophomore year at Dartmouth.  Sandra had just begun grade 11 and David had begun grade 7.  By now, our grandparents had moved to an apartment at 220 Piedmont street, pictured below. We moved first to a short term rented house in Arlington, where Sandra was enrolled in grade 11 at Washington and Lee High School, pictured below; David in grade 7 at Stratford Junior High School. 

Our family then moved to a rented house on Farragut Street in Arlington, overlooking the White Spot Restaurant and near the schools we were attending.
