India (January 15 to March 29, 1994)

On January 15, 1994, while mom was still at Dominican Oaks, and with a gift cheque from Bill, Sandra travelled to Seol, Korea, to visit Luke, who was then employed by Deutsch Bank in Seol.  On January 21, she continued on to India, where she visited Haridas’ Orphanage.  She and others in her group of about 15 of Baba Ji’s students (joined by two dozen later in February and March), stayed initially in Delhi at a tourist hotel, as guest accommodation at the school next to the orphanage had not yet been completed.  They then moved to a hotel (Arienidas?) in They bicycled each day across town to the orphanage, which was several miles outside Haridwar, a pilgrimage area in India.

On March 29, 1994, Sandra returned from her trip to India.  On her return, she stopped in Toronto to visit David and his family in Mississauga.  During her visit, Sandra went with David to watch Caroline’s horseback riding lesson at Meadowlark stable in Oakville, where the photo below was taken.
